Portugal offers excellent opportunities for investors across the board, the upsurge in rental prices in Portugal has reignited the investment property market, as cash rich Portuguese and overseas property investors all look to cash in.
The main region as always is the Algarve but cheaper property in central Portugal and the Silver coast has investors with more modest budgets showing keen interest.
Construction costs in Portugal are also markedly down on previous years, used in conjunction with the fall in Portugal property prices, this is allowing investors to put together a portfolio of rental property relatively cheaply.

One has more scope with coastal properties as you get more tourist rental opportunity here although overseas property investors are also needing somewhere to stay so choose wisely but apartments, town houses or rural dwellings can serve you equally well.
